Come here little mortal; let me tell you a story. Yes cliché is it not? But listen to what this cursed beast has to say. I raised my gaze to the blackening clouds above and smiled. “This rain will do us good, “ I murmured. “Right Lady Moon?” I spoke to my beautiful black and gray dappled mare. Chapter 1 “The Pit”
Roy shuddered. Warm sticky blood oozed down his shoulders and back, painfully contradicting his prison cell’s cold air. Heavy iron shackles bound him to the ground with unbreakable chains. His wrists were raw and stung with infection.
“Someone get me out of this hellhole” Roy thought as he absently tugged at the chains. The cold nipped at his open sores and cuts ranged over his body.
